We want YOU to submit your idea for a panel for Galactic Camp. Galactic Camp is a convention by furs for furs. And we need your panel idea for the con. We especially love panels that combine ideas of the fandom, military history, navy, and/or space. forms.gle/yPtDhHsuE4BA43…

Our convention will be 18+ moving forward. This decision was made in partnership with our venue; we feel this will better ensure safety and comfort for our 400 overnight furry sleep over plus allow us exciting new opportunities to offer additional adult programming.

Save the date! Galactic Camp will be returning May 28th-31st, 2026 + as a one night Gala this Nov 22, 2025. Staff applications are now open too! As a staff member you get to stay on the ship 3 nights during the con plus 2 nights at our staff planning retreat this Nov.

Woo! @galacticcamp was a crazy event! Dancing in an aircraft carrier hanger is a unique experience; on the fantail Sunday night; it was freezing cold, perfect for dancing in suit! Big thanks to @NachoHusky and all the staff that worked so hard to make it all happen. :)

This is our lost and found as of this morning. If anything of yours please come by the security desk at the USS Hornet and claim your items in the next two weeks. Or call the museum to make arrangements. They are open weekends but sometimes have staff there Monday-Friday too.

This is the color blind panel going on now in the Officer’s Ward Room of the USS Hornet. You get to paint under yellow sodium light which is how those with color deficiencies experience painting.
