Here are the results from my Tiktok ad with a 30% click-through rate ⤵️ I recently came across a super viral video that would be perfect to promote autogmail.com (b2b saas) and launched a Tiktok campaign with it... tl;dr ➡️ a complete banger: - 30% CTR: a third of the viewers clicked on the ad! - 0.001 CPC: 0.1 cent per click! crazy! (rounded to 0.00 in the tiktok UI😅) But here is the tough reality: upon arriving on the landing page, only ~100 (out of 50k visitors) entered their email address and from those, about 60 installed the chrome extension. 💡learning: even with the most viral video, Tiktok does not work because the attention span of the audience is so short. 💡I was always suspicious of those tiktok success stories and had expected something like that but am glad I could empirically confirm this. #tiktokads #saas #indiehacker

With LLMs, search becomes un-monetizable but a great way to collect user data. Meta AI being released for free means Facebook can offer better targeting to advertisers (who can't use Google Ads anymore). Request for startups: I’d like an interactive voice based AI assistant that will help me go through my emails and calendar in the 20 minute drive to work. It should draft emails based on minimal voice input and reschedule appointments that I want to move.

This was normal just two years ago.
