@thefrontbar7 So the Watson family was still barracking for Richmond even though Tim's older brother Larry was playing for Essendon.

@BobBurn97207272 Things that never happened for $1000. Joyce is the House of Rep, he is not a Senator. Faruqi IS a Senator.

Senator Barnaby Joyce didn't just speak—he detonated "bombs of truth" right in the middle of Parliament. The debate dragged on... until he stood up, his gaze icy, and declared: “I’m tired of people who keep spewing insults at Australia.” Nine words. A suffocating silence fell. Then he targeted Mehreen Faruqi: “Especially those who came here seeking safety, building their lives on our freedom, only to turn around and slander the Southern Cross flag that saved them—while still comfortably receiving a $211,000 salary from taxpayers’ money and flying overseas to smear this nation.” The room erupted. Faruqi’s face flushed crimson with anger. Senator Sarah Hanson-Young yelled, “ORDER — THIS IS RACIST!” Reporters’ phones rang in unison. The Senate President banged his gavel repeatedly. And Barnaby? He stood firm. “Hey girl, if you hate this country so much, Qantas has one-way tickets waiting for you. Love it — or leave. Patriotism isn’t hatred. It’s gratitude.” Sky News and ABC News 24 recorded record viewership. Social media exploded. The far-left fell silent. The nation was listening. The message was clear: Enough is enough. One Senator. One fact. A firestorm was spreading from Parliament to every home across Australia.

@FirstpostSports @UjwalKS Coco Gauff throws a tantrum like a 3 year old and is upset it is filmed because she wants to be a role model, don't throw tantrums. If you want less cameras then play for less money, media pays through the nose for this access.

Today, I want to be very clear - The more than 40,000 who served our nation in the 20 years of the war in Afghanistan did so with extraordinary bravery and made our nation proud. The 47 who made the ultimate sacrifice will forever have their names etched on our nation’s most sacred roll of honour. For those who were injured physically, and mentally and emotionally, our nation remains in your debt. The brave deeds of each of these people now form part of the history of our nation. And in thanking them for their service, all of us- in knowing they carried our flag- feel an immense sense of pride.

@A_S_Al_Mughairi If only your maths skills matched your passion. Ted Noffey was 2 years and 9 months when he won the Breeders Cup so by your logic was perfectly placed and mature enough to be racing at that stage.

The Ted Noffey case proves everything we’ve been talking about. Let’s be honest. This is NOT a story about a weak horse. It is NOT about a bad trainer. And it is absolutely NOT about a farm that doesn’t know how to produce champions. Anyone who thinks Todd A. Pletcher lacks experience, or that Spendthrift Farm doesn’t know what it’s doing… simply doesn’t understand the reality. The truth is harsher. The problem is not Ted Noffey. The problem is a system that pushes babies before they’re finished. The U.S. starts 2-year-old racing far too early. So early that even an early foal should not be asked for maximum effort until at least 2 years and 2 months old, and late foals need 2 years and 6 months minimum. Why? Because that’s when: the body actually finishes developing the brain matures the knees and hocks close and the horse is finally biologically ready But what happens in reality? We prep them early… We push them early… We rush them early… So they can be ready for OBS in March and April and for early 2-year-old races before their bodies are even done growing. And the result? Injuries. Layups. Losses. And champions broken before they’re born. Let’s talk real example: Ted Noffey – born January 17, 2023 That means he is not even 2 years old yet. He stopped training 60 days ago due to injury. Which means he got hurt at around 18 months old. 18 months. That’s a baby. Not a racehorse. And that pressure almost robbed racing fans around the world of seeing the best Kentucky-bred of 2023 on the track. So… is Ted Noffey weak? No. Is the trainer bad? No. Is the farm incompetent? No. The system is broken. The timing is the crime. Japan succeeds with American Pharoah’s sons because they let them grow up. The U.S. fails with many of its talents because it rushes them. And here’s the real question: How long are we going to sacrifice America’s genetic treasure for a broken racing calendar? How many champions do we have to lose before we admit the problem? It’s time for the U.S. to rethink the 2-year-old racing schedule. It’s time to protect its national bloodstock wealth from being destroyed. Because what’s happening right now is not “developing the industry.” What’s happening right now… is burning the future.

Olivia Caisley just embarrassed herself and @abcnews with a interruption riddled interview of Albanese. Hitting the crescendo of ignorance as she tried to promote poorly researched fake news about Mike Burgess as if she were still on Sky News and facts didn't matter. #Auspol
