Met with UAE’s President @MohamedBinZayed in Abu Dhabi, where we discussed President Trump’s MOU with Iran, efforts to secure full and safe transit through the Strait of Hormuz, and regional stability. I thanked the UAE leadership for their unparalleled support, praised their courage and resilience in the face of Iran’s attacks, and reaffirmed our commitment to Emirati security and to our strong bilateral partnership.

🚨BREAKING: The U.S. Postal Service will NOT be delivering ANY 2026 mail-in ballots to states that don't comply with President Trump's voter fraud prevention Executive Order, per U.S. Postmaster General. This is what I voted for! Follow: @BoLoudon

Americans support President Trump’s efforts to make peace while containing the Iranian dictatorship and blocking it from nuclear weapons. Vice President J D Vance’s report from Switzerland on progress in dealing with the Iranian religious dictatorship has been well received by most Americans. A series of polls indicate strong support for President Trump’s position. Napolitan reported that 58% think the agreement is good for the United States and only 20% think it is bad. Quantum reported a 56% approval to 13% disapproval of the deal as outlined. Fabrizio had a series of important reports. By 67-26 they report the American people favor the agreement. According to Fabrizio 51% believe the deal will help the economy while only 12 % think it will be worse. On inflation and affordability the numbers are not as strong as Fabrizio reports 43% think it will get better but 16% think it will get worse. On gasoline prices people are more optimistic with 67% thinking they will get better and only 9% think they will get worse. After a long stretch of attacks from both the right and left, from the so called foreign policy experts and the liberal media, the American people have concluded that progress is being made and things will get better. President Trump showed great endurance in going through the kabuki theater of dealing with an opponent which is religiously motivated, has been bitterly anti-American for 47 years and finds it hard to even talk with us. The persistence of Vice President J D Vance and special envoys Witkoff and Kushner in long trips filled with frustration has paid off. No one should be in doubt. This is the beginning of a long road of managing a challenging often hostile and very often deceitful country which has had almost five decades of trying to hurt America and ultimately destroy it. It is possible that President Trump’s combination of military, economic, financial, and diplomatic efforts have led to a profound change in how the Iranian dictatorship has to think about the world. In Churchill’s phrase this is not the beginning of the end but it is the end of the beginning. Now we have to design a management system that monitors, investigates, sanctions when necessary and ensures the compliance of the Iranian dictatorship for as long as it is in power. This is an enormous step but it is the beginning not the end.

At tomorrow’s meeting between President Trump and Senate Republicans, do you want your senators to advocate (1) FOR, or (2) AGAINST trying to pass the SAVE America Act?
