It was 19-years-ago today when KC was hit by an intense. This EF-4 tornado was caught on the Woodlands race track (just east of the Legend's shopping center in construction at the time). It tracked from KC, KS to Gladstone, MO to Liberty. We rarely have setups like that day!

There are a few thunderstorms and rain showers ahead of the main line. The line will arrive between 8 and 9 PM. These thunderstorms have not been severe. Expect very heavy rain and wind gusts to 40 mph. We will monitor them closely. Let us know what you experience!

A rather wild week of weather is about to begin. There is another significant severe weather risk over southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma Monday & a snowstorm over western Nebraska into Colorado. A series of storm systems will affect the next ten days!
