It was an absolute honor & one of the proudest moments of my life when @period_priority was recognized by the NL House of Assembly on May 30🙏🏼 Thank you to the community for supporting the menstrual equity movement!💖

This was a small action to address food insecurity in our community, as the cost of living continues to skyrocket in NL. While applications for #RisingYouth grant are now closed, we encourage other groups to apply in the future.

They purchased $750 worth of school lunch snacks (granola bars, applesauce, juiceboxes), pantry staples (pastas, bread, canned fruit/veg/legumes), period products (tampons, pads, liners), and fresh bread!

Last week, Holly and Emil from the GPL went out and purchased two carts full of groceries for the Community Food Sharing Association Using a community service grant provided by #RisingYouth. #ImpactReport
