@IsIllinois How did the Fire screw over Bridgeview? Originally, the two were to split the $95M cost 50/50. Bridgeview shifted gears and announced they would fund 100%. That decision proved disastrous for residents. The Fire did pay Bridgeview $65M to break the lease.

Of course another stadium was needed. Chicago Fire screwed over the suburb of Bridgeview for a stadium

@RossRead @bkeister34 Nope. @ChicagoFire are building their own stadium at The 78. It's supposed to open in 2028. The occasional one-off exhibition match will likely be the only soccer at SF.
