I went looking for one of my mom’s old Quincy jazz albums to no avail (so far), but I did find this gem… 1963… “The Amazing 17 Year Old Lesley Gore - I’ll Cry If I Want To” produced by Quincy Jones… I love his liner note with the HI-FI technical info providing details on the mics he used on each instrument and the tape speed he recorded it… a producer & engineer’s treasure! #AT40 #QuincyJones #recording #production #engineer #music #LesleyGore

Yay Tamil Nadu ! Trekking routes have been opened by the TN Forest Department from today. Fantastic 40 trekking trails are now open across 14 districts, including Nilgiris and Kanyakumari. The best part - 300 enterprsing people from the tribal & rural communities have been trained to serve as Eco-guides, ensuring both tourist safety & environmental education. Trek participants will receive necessary trekking gear and will have an insurance cover too. You can see a 3D view before choosing your trek.
