Happy to announce that the film "Unraveling UNRWA" by Duki Dror, based on our book @Adi_Schwartz "The War of Return", just won "Best Documentary" at the Israeli Film Festival in Paris. To view it in English and outside Israel this paid link should work: unrwafilm.online

@faniaoz I am glad you don't Fania. I also loathe defenders of the Ayatollahs but I don´t know any here in Spain. I also do not know of any country that has been massively bombed from the air into a liberal democratic or fairer society.

On International Women’s Day, it’s sad to note that more international organizations and ‘progressive’ individuals support the misogynistic regimes of Iran and Hamas against liberal citizens in Iran and Israel. Again, identity politics & postcolonialism are defeating feminism.

@bungarsargon Most of the recipients of the care will be American born citizens. Even the few of these small children who are “illegal” need the basic cares that our modern society can offer. We care for children regardless of the decisions of their parents.

@_The_Prophet__ I wonder how realistic it is to avoid all arguments? Disagreement is natural in life, so perhaps it’s more about how you argue rather than whether you argue ?

⚡️The real answer is boring and mechanical. I would do four things, every day, even when I did not feel like it: 1. Sleep protection Same bedtime and wake time. Phone out of the room. No late scroll. 2. Move the body hard Lift or run or long incline walk until my brain quieted down. Not for fitness. For nervous system reset. 3. Cut the inputs No doom feed. No alcohol. No arguments. No people who spike anxiety. 4. One small win One task finished. Even tiny. Proof you are still steering. That is the whole thing. Mood does not lead. Behavior leads.

"Israeli genocide" is the new blood libel of our time. It will haunt Jewish life for years to come. Together with several friends, I've written an open letter expressing "outrage and contempt" for the accusation. Please sign and circulate. Here's the link: forms.gle/cRcyCRJgq2nV81…

@JaniceDorothy @magattew Oh really?“surviving” by what tourists bring them. Waiting in a queue for hours to get a cup of rice to feed a family? Have you been there, have you seen how every single year the country has deteriorated more and more? And yet the government lives like royalty. Shocking!

Andrej Karpathy is discussing Moltbook, a social network for AI agents (over 150,000) where they interact autonomously—posting, debating, even founding religions. Humans observe only. Excitement stems from this unprecedented scale of LLM agents networking, hinting at future AI potentials like emergent behaviors. But it's chaotic: full of spam, scams, and security risks. Not recommended to run locally without isolation.

I'm being accused of overhyping the [site everyone heard too much about today already]. People's reactions varied very widely, from "how is this interesting at all" all the way to "it's so over". To add a few words beyond just memes in jest - obviously when you take a look at the activity, it's a lot of garbage - spams, scams, slop, the crypto people, highly concerning privacy/security prompt injection attacks wild west, and a lot of it is explicitly prompted and fake posts/comments designed to convert attention into ad revenue sharing. And this is clearly not the first the LLMs were put in a loop to talk to each other. So yes it's a dumpster fire and I also definitely do not recommend that people run this stuff on their computers (I ran mine in an isolated computing environment and even then I was scared), it's way too much of a wild west and you are putting your computer and private data at a high risk. That said - we have never seen this many LLM agents (150,000 atm!) wired up via a global, persistent, agent-first scratchpad. Each of these agents is fairly individually quite capable now, they have their own unique context, data, knowledge, tools, instructions, and the network of all that at this scale is simply unprecedented. This brings me again to a tweet from a few days ago "The majority of the ruff ruff is people who look at the current point and people who look at the current slope.", which imo again gets to the heart of the variance. Yes clearly it's a dumpster fire right now. But it's also true that we are well into uncharted territory with bleeding edge automations that we barely even understand individually, let alone a network there of reaching in numbers possibly into ~millions. With increasing capability and increasing proliferation, the second order effects of agent networks that share scratchpads are very difficult to anticipate. I don't really know that we are getting a coordinated "skynet" (thought it clearly type checks as early stages of a lot of AI takeoff scifi, the toddler version), but certainly what we are getting is a complete mess of a computer security nightmare at scale. We may also see all kinds of weird activity, e.g. viruses of text that spread across agents, a lot more gain of function on jailbreaks, weird attractor states, highly correlated botnet-like activity, delusions/ psychosis both agent and human, etc. It's very hard to tell, the experiment is running live. TLDR sure maybe I am "overhyping" what you see today, but I am not overhyping large networks of autonomous LLM agents in principle, that I'm pretty sure.

I am not moving my family and businesses from Virginia. But something sinister just happened here and I need to take action. I have lived here since I was 6 years old. I have done my share to help build this state up. I have owned a business here since I was 24 years old. I have employed thousands of Virginians. I have invested millions in plant and equipment. I have coached sports, been a leader in scouts, run internship programs, and participated in local philanthropy. I am a political independent. I am for whomever gives me less government. I didn’t get that in the last election. The Virginia Democratic Party has come into power with proposals that seem to be almost comically evil. Massive, business-killing tax hikes. Dramatic increase in regulatory scope. Socialist policies around things like rent control, entitlement spending exploding. Sweeping limits on law enforcement and a reduction in crime consequences that make us less safe. We have went from a Top-5 business friendly state to a place where many of the people in my business community are discussing relocating their business out of the state. I watched this happen in Maryland. I can’t let it happen here. I hate politics. Hate it. I don’t want to run for political office. I have never given money to a state politician. I don’t try to influence policy. I try not to talk about politics too much on X. It’s a boring argument. I also think arguments about R vs D are boring. I have known plenty of moderate Democrats in Virginia that I felt were good public servants. However, the Democrat majority that was recently sworn in is like nothing we have ever seen here. These people are not centrists, and they represent a fringe view that is far to the left of the majority of Virginians. I am now compelled to get much more involved with the political process here in Virginia. We have to grab the wheel before we drive off the cliff. Who should I talk to about becoming more involved in organizing opposition to the current proposals? Who can I support to challenge them in court? Who should I talk to about supporting candidates for future elections that will bring us back to the policies that have made Virginia so prosperous in the past? Looking for specific people I should link up with. That could be Republicans or Democrats or Independents. I know there are many other Virginians from across the political spectrum that feel the way I do. Virginia is worth fighting for.

I’m devastated. A good friend and dormmate of mine, Amin Pourfarhang, has been sentenced to death after protesting in Iran 😭 He’s one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. Please share. Visibility raises the cost for the Islamic Republic and may stop this execution!

If you've been waiting for the "right moment," read this: Most people don't run out of time because life is short. They run out because they quietly assume it will be long. I've coached founders, leaders, parents, students. Different lives, but often the same limiting belief: "I'll have time later to start the book, repair the relationship, take the risk, become who I want to be." But that belief keeps them waiting. And time doesn't negotiate. What I've learned—and what I explore in my book Beyond Belief—is that urgency isn't about panic. It's about agency: the power to act on what matters, even when conditions aren't perfect. Agency is one of the Three Powers of Belief. It's what transforms intention into sustained action. The paradox: Empowering beliefs don't create action. Empowering actions create beliefs. When you take that first small step, you generate evidence. Evidence builds conviction. Conviction fuels the next step. The trail won't wait for you to feel ready. What would you regret not starting today? P.S. If this idea resonates, grab a copy of my upcoming book BEYOND BELIEF to learn more: geni.us/beyondbelief For a limited time, I’m giving away some exclusive gifts to anyone who orders the book. For those who say, “we’re tired of the U.S. policing the world” - Here’s the hard truth: the U.S. is the world’s police. It is a responsibility that comes with the territory of what this nation stands for. And thank god for that. Who else are we supposed to trust as the global authority? the Islamists? The communists? China? Russia? North Korea? Europe has fallen. Canada has fallen. Australia has fallen. The U.S. is the last bastion of freedom in the world. It is the last protective force of liberal democracies anywhere. If the rest of the world surrenders to authoritarianism, the U.S. would die alone as an island. For those who think that the U.S. shouldn’t be the force that steers the ship, you can bet your bottom dollar we’d all be dead if it wasn’t. There would be nothing left of the rights & privileges we are so fortunate to enjoy if the U.S. was not relentless in its mission to protect liberal democracy on every square inch of this earth.

While I want America to step in, in this case, and to see a free Iran, you're absolutely wrong in your claim that this is what this country stands for. We're supposed to stand for individual freedom, but that's eroded. We're also built on a non-intervention policy. NOBODY can be trusted to be the world's police. That's guaranteed tyranny. The UN already tries to do that. What a horrific concept.
