Indeed the pope's declaration is a godsend for those who care about demographics: an institution with legitimacy amongst the masses offering a path to morally reject and practically curb migration, while treating the migrants humanely (that the masses would demand regardless).

Many in the right wing, similarly indeed to the left wing, rather *want* migration to happen so they can feel better than the migrants - the difference that the left wants to feel a superiority of character while the right wants to feel one of strength.

I suspect my mother only wants me to get a job for the summer because she doesn’t like me seeing my friends, playing video games, having fun, leisure, etc.
