Today in Eden, we ceremonially signed a set of bills focused on one thing: better outcomes for Utah students.
Together with students from Valley Elementary, we reaffirmed our commitment to early literacy, better use of technology, and giving every student the tools they need to succeed.

When a woman became trapped in the Provo River, Wyatt acted without hesitation. His quick thinking and bravery helped save her life. He is a powerful example of the dedicated state employees who serve Utah with courage every day.

The @JobsUT report today continues to put Utah’s economy ahead of the national average. Utah’s strong financial services and fintech sectors are part of that story, with companies here helping shape the future of finance.
Workforce Services@JobsUT
January’s unemployment rate for Utah increased slightly to 3.8% and job counts grew by 0.6% over the last year (adding 10,500 jobs). Utah's key economic indicators are once again better than the national numbers. Nationally, job growth was only 0.2% and unemployment was 4.3%.

$1 BILLION for the Great Salt Lake.
President Trump has officially requested a historic $1B to restore and protect one of America’s most important environmental assets.
The Great Salt Lake fuels our economy and protects the health of millions. With real federal partnership, we can accelerate water flows, restore ecosystems, tackle invasive species, and address toxic dust. Now Congress must act.
We’re going to fill the lake. 🇺🇸
