it is insane to me how amazing this cover sounds with how transparent and clean the mix is, gin's vocal mids just sound like they sit in the perfect spot to cut through the mix so you really feel all the notes then when they'd add any ginflections you REALLY notice it and feel it

just feels like an anomaly from how objectively good it is. like it would sound like a sinewave when notes are held and straight but as soon as their vibrato comes out it hits you that this is also a human singing except they have so much skill and intent. I LOVE THIS COVER AAAAA

are we doing hot takes? i think MVs are actually the least essential part for songs whether it's a cover or an original. if what you are looking for is to further your own craft then put your budget down on mix/improving vocals. think of it as vocal>mix>art>video

“Like Like Like” It’s been the working title and I think I’m gonna go with it I’ve thrown around alternatives with more/varied styling and punctuation (Like? Like! Like♡), but they have more of a happy vibe that doesn’t quite match the song
