At tonight’s game I focused on being really aggressive at the plate and I hit a 3-run home run 💣 and 2 singles bringing in 5 RBIs out of our 7 runs. I loved being at the @WMUSoftball double header yesterday with @HaleyTrench24. It was so cold, but being there for the walk-off wins for both games was so worth it. They never stopped fighting and they did it twice! Two players, Megan and Liliana, who are previous Chicago Cheetahs were nice to take a pic with me. Game 2 and I hit my first high school home run and my first ever GRAND SLAM! Our 2nd W! Saxons 7-2 vs Batavia. Sunday’s hitting lesson with @joshbaer24 was great. We worked on hitting up the middle. 80% power gives me better control. I need to remember that. I’m practicing daily and I’m feeling good. During my lesson with @joshbaer24 this week we worked on hitting up the middle and staying in my legs for power. It really gave me extra success at the plate during the BSWL Annual Showcase tournament. Such a fun weekend where we played with so much energy going 4-1-0. Last night we had so much fun playing under the lights at the Rosemont AU softball stadium. We won 9-0! I went 2/2 with two doubles. I really love the sound of the bat hitting the ball. My Monday night NU hitting camp is really helping me focus on what I need to do at the plate.
