@DudesonZach @mdragoferrante Long term yes. Short term there might be some volatility for a couple quarters. They couldn't pass on tariff costs so they might still have some of that inventory to work through. We don't really know.

@Benzino1936 @Venu_7_ I think I'm a dummy for writing this right before the quarterly report. It's still a great company, growing despite tariffs, but tariffs hit a lot harder than expected in q3 right after the stock had rallied and people clearly sold off. Lesson learned.

@gregw134 great questions on the call

A little disappointing honestly. I was hoping for break-even and they had a 1.3M loss. Not huge but below expectations. Their competitor SGC also had a drop in Q3 due to tariff-related order pull forward, they probably had the same thing happen here. The call is tomorrow, we'll learn then. Margins dropped a bit too. So yeah disappointing but not entirely unexpected. $400k in buy backs so they feel confident in the company, and Q4 is always their best quarter. Looking forward to hearing more detail on the call tomorrow.

@gregw134 Thoughts on those earnings?

@mdragoferrante I'm hearing it's only $200 billion in fees collected. The US would just have to borrow $200 billion more to pay it back. That's not a good thing but the US already borrows that much every five weeks so it's not really going to hurt the economy.

@gregw134 Do you think the negatives for the economy of $2tn payback would outweigh the positives for $SWAG though?

I've been in $OPEN since the $1s. No better team to back than the people over at Opendoor. The real estate disruptor is going to make the industry better as a whole, improving the experience for home buyers and sellers alike.

@LeoGoldenDoodle If people start seeing net income for a few quarters alongside growth and a successful rollup story I'm hoping this could relate pretty hard

@LeoGoldenDoodle We probably want to buy this at a discount until we actually see those numbers print in Q3 and Q4, especially given tariff uncertainty. But if they're profitable as expected pe of 12 is pretty good for a growth story.
