@catalinafever Yes!! I understand if towards the end they leave out routines from the bottom team, but routines from both LSU and OU were missed if I remember correctly. How are we meant to see who was the rightful winner??

I don't think I'll ever be a fan of all scores counting in WAG NCAA because my favourite part of any meet is when a team has had a fall and then the tension rises to see if the other gymnasts can go clean so they don't have to count it.

Men’s finals were electric with the 4 up, 4 count format, which they moved to last season. Would an all-scores-count format like 5 up, 5 count be better for women’s #NCAAgym?

Kailin Chio scored 159.4125 points on vault out of a possible 160. That means she received 0.5875 in deductions on vault ACROSS THE ENTIRE SEASON. She accumulated 99.6% of the maximum possible points she could've earned on vault. That's absurd.

@morgiflatley I really don't think OU's choreo is any worse than most of the other teams, they just really commit to it so it's more noticeable that it's a bit silly. Which honestly I prefer.

Have to give a shout out to @ChilesJordan and @Aly_Raisman . After the results came in, and several girls on the team were wearing it on their shoulders…Jordan came running onto the floor and gave everyone huge hugs. She talked to @kailin_chio for a long while (1/2)

@PLgimnasia @theegymmdiaryy Same, I just haven't been drawn in by any team as much as I have in previous seasons. I've had seasons where I really loved UCLA, Florida and LSU and even OU, but this year it's all been a bit meh aside from select individuals.

Worked incredibly hard all season to get to the @NCAA_Gymnastics Championships.
Upset No. 4, No. 5, No. 9 and No. 12 in an unheard of Cinderella run to Four on the Floor.
Our fans tune in from all over the world to watch and they get shown 60% of our routines.
How can we make the National Championship and this happens?

@ShaneWiskthem And for men's NCAA it's so competitive in the top few teams that they're always going to go for full difficulty so again there's little variation!

@ShaneWiskthem In elite there's maybe slightly more strategy you can use in terms of going for lower difficulty routines to be safe, but in NCAA where the range from a great routine to a terrible one is 0.3 then you will always be doing the same routine, and always just want to hit it!

And there’s nowhere to go from there. It must be so jarring to be a basketball reporter and not be able to get anything else bc gym isn’t an adversarial sport. You don’t have to react to anything 😂

You can tell the ESPN sideline reporter is so thrown when the usual sports questions don’t work because there’s no real-time strategy in gymnastics lol
