@hakur1k thats valid, i never really was for asushin in the nge but i can see it, for both nge/eoe, i just wish there were more kawoshin crumbs back then but eh ig we have the manga, rebuilds tho, kawoshin crumbs lol. asuka does not want every scenario handed to her, she wants reality

@meownium She came to the same conclusion he did in nge/eoe they both want the dark real world, because its real , listen my whole philosophy with shipping with eva has always been asushin for nge timeline (BUT ONLY AFTER END OF EVA) and kawoshin for the rebuilds

@hakur1k never had to be, it’s collectively all up to asuka’s decision for what she wants to do in the future and that’s her choice :) i guess you can say that scene was her way of looking out for shinji, giving him the option to grow into his own best self just like asuka wants to do

I think part 2 was about letting go of relationships that hurt you, even if youre afraid to be alone. Pochita loved Denji enough to realize he was the thing keeping Denji was being truly happy. Denji can make his own happiness. Everyone who grows up eventually loses their dog.
