Get me a real 1st receiver in the midfield in the summer. We have one of the best 8s in the world in Gravenberch and we cannot even consistently play him as one. So frustrating.

Jacquet represents, to me, what an elite CB prospect should be.
Defends space like no other with his elite agility+size combo. Top recovery speed. Allows him to be proactive. Absolute domination in the air.

Camped in their half at home, can't get shots off for 35 minutes and guess who comes to the rescue again. I can't even begin to imagine the season without Ekitiké, man. Genuine superstar. The way he carries the team through all the turmoil around him at this young of an age. Wow.

People think there has to be an overarching explanation to every over/under performance on xG, rather than it being a product of pure variance.
I'm guessing the criticism on Ekitike's "shooting" exists because of this. Because when you watch him, it's a different story.
