BREAKING: The Javier Ambler Law, which prevents reality TV shows from partnering with Texas law enforcement, has just passed the state Senate in a 27-3 vote and now heads to the governor’s desk.

Cops consistently presents bad policing as good policing: tasing people when they shouldn’t be tasing, using illegal holds, siccing dogs on people without the proper warning — just over and over.

The fuck is this?

It's (1) pitiful that COPS has to "fulfill commitments in international territories," and (2) immoral that they are still sending out camera crews with American law enforcement right now. newsweek.com/cops-resumes-p…

i recc this podcast bc > even if its obvi cops sucks, it's really something else to listen to the voices of ppl who were on it & their families vs reading quotes in an article > its not bloated, it couldnt have just been 1 article or 1 pod ep stretched to a season
