Trump claims a deal with Iran a few hours before the market opens. Iran has stated they’ve had no talks with the US and have also said Trump is trying to manipulate market prices. Then there’s a pause on strikes targeting power plants for 5 days, which just happens to coincide with the market closing over the weekend. But yeah, don’t worry, the talks are real and going well.

Long a dangerous amount of Brent right now. Trump is full of bullshit, Brent under $100 is a gift.

I no longer believe anything that comes out of Trump’s or this administration’s mouth. They’ll say anything to calm the markets, then do the opposite. People have had enough of the flip-flop headlines and fake tacos. The market is finally starting to wake up, they’re slowly losing all credibility.

I wonder what else is meant to bottom in October? The 4 year cycle prophecy will be fulfilled. Stars aligning, balls tingling, don’t know.

95% of traders on Hyperliquid don’t even know the correct oil to trade in this conflict. Pissing myself laughing at everyone long WTI while Bessent and the US manipulate the price to keep it under $100. WTI is down, Brent is up and the spread is widening out to $10. WTI is much easier to manipulate than Brent because Brent is the global benchmark. If any of you did some research you’d know the oil affected in the Strait of Hormuz is Brent, not WTI. 95% of people are long the wrong oil and it’s absolutely hilarious. Long oil is the right trade, but most are long WTI, not Brent, costly mistake. I’ve been long Brent since $88, slowly starting to take profit here.

Got your dates wrong. Vaguely reminiscent of March 2022. Russia invaded Ukraine, February 24th 2022, oil rips higher. US attacks Iran, February 28th 2026, again, oil rips higher. Everything is playing out exactly like 2022.

Crypto looks good, and starting to see a few people flip bullish. Would be a shame if the U.S. economy nuked and spoiled it. The 4 year cycle has played out to a tee so far, so I don’t see a reason to flip bullish when there’s still another 6 to 7 months of a bear market left to play out. If we get into the high 70s, low 80s, I’ll look to short and hold it into the summer, where I think we see lower.
