In 1997, HTTP status code 402 was reserved for 'Payment Required'; a native payment layer built into the web itself For almost 30 years, nobody could make it work There was no digital cash and no settlement layer that could handle sub-cent transactions. The web defaulted to advertising and credit card checkout flows instead Stablecoins and Layer 2s changed that. x402 finishes what HTTP 402 started; payment as native to the web as loading an image Most people looking at agentic commerce see one maturity cycle, but there are two: 1) The retail narrative is approaching its peak; CT is buzzing, ecosystem maps are proliferating, every protocol is announcing x402 compatibility. That will correct 2) The institutional adoption curve is on a completely different trajectory. For this layer, the trough already happened in 2025 Stripe, Visa, AWS, Google, Coinbase, Circle and Cloudflare are shipping production infrastructure because their own internal analysis on projected agent transaction volume justify it In our x402 report, we map the protocol architecture, the agentic stack, the institutional landscape, and assess where the value could accrue The full report is in the next post below:

$BTC on the weekly shows us where we stand currently (2022 fractal overlay) dont think we exactly trace that, but the point is that there is still time to burn before the eventual 1W 9/21 upside cross as every major upside rally started with a sustained cross on the weekly rn the EMA gap is still diverging but with this weeks PA they are starting to slowly curl up. my indicator still doesnt give us an ETA rn but the immediate price to force this cross is 154,718 😂 no rush rn, could even wait for confirmation of cross; drawback is bottom most likely will be in by then and you have to deal with fakeout crosses but hey, at least that beats getting chopped to death

Moni Community Weekly Profits Report 🫣 In the 🥇 place we have the well known JELLYBEAN, called by @johny671154 (X) at 300k market cap. The deployer described it as a “new Moodeng,” although it faded pretty quickly. There was more than enough time to secure profits here 👇 🥈 place gets a more interesting ticker, PMPR. The bot is basically a full clone of BANKR, but it still turned out to be a solid play. It managed to jump to a 1.3M market cap. The call was made by @hellios_og (X) at only 65k market cap, which resulted in a total of 19x. 🥉 place goes to SLURMIT. Nothing too extraordinary, just a regular memecoin with a frog named Slurmit, but it turned out to be a pretty solid call. @Mistik1_1_1 (X) called it at a 108k market cap, and at the highs it reached 1.5M, which means about 14x. That's just a small part of what happened this week. There were many more profitable calls, far more than we could realistically fit into a single post or even two. If you want to see the full picture, the easiest way is to join the community and follow everything in real time.

Venice.ai is already today this "unlinkable inference layer," a "VPN for AI" Use any model (ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini/Grok) through Venice pseudonymously.
Erik Voorhees tweet media
Ken Liu@kenziyuliu

Can we build a blind, *unlinkable inference* layer where ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini can't tell which call came from which users, like a “VPN for AI inference”? Yes! Blog post below + we built it into open source infra/chat app and served >15k prompts at Stanford so far. How it helps with AI user privacy: # The AI user privacy problem If you ask AI to analyze your ChatGPT history today, it’s surprisingly easy to infer your demographics, health, immigration status, and political beliefs. Every prompt we send accumulates into an (identity-linked) profile that the AI lab controls completely and indefinitely. At a minimum this is a goldmine for ads (as we know now). A bigger issue is the concentration of power: AI labs can easily become (or asked to become) a Cambridge Analytica, whistleblow your immigration status, or work with health insurance to adjust your premium if they so choose. This is a uniquely worse problem than search engines because your average query is now more revealing (not just keywords), interactive, and intelligence is now cheap. Despite this, most of us still want these remote models; they’re just too good and convenient! (this is aka the "privacy paradox".) # Unlinkable inference as a user privacy architecture The idea of unlinkable inference is to add privacy while preserving access to the remote models controlled by someone else. A “privacy wrapper” or “VPN for AI inference”, so to speak. Concretely, it’s a blind inference middle layer that: (1) consists of decentralized proxies that anyone can operate; (2) blindly authenticates requests (via blind signatures / RFC9474,9578) so requests are provably sandboxed from each other and from user identity; (3) relays prompts over randomly chosen proxies that don’t see or log traffic (via client-side ephemeral keys or hosting in TEEs); and (4) the provider simply sees a mixed pool of anonymous prompts from the proxies. No state, pseudonyms, or linkable metadata. If you squint, an unlinkable inference layer is essentially a vendor for per-request, anonymous, ephemeral AI access credentials (for users or agents alike). It partitions your context so that user tracking is drastically harder. Obviously, unlinkability isn’t a silver bullet: the prompt itself still goes to the remote model and can leak privacy (so don't use our chat app for a therapy session!). It aims to combat *longitudinal tracking* as a major threat to user privacy, and its statistical power increases quickly by mixing more users and requests. Unlinkability can be applied at any granularity. For an AI chat app, you can unlinkably request a fresh ephemeral key for every session so tracking is virtually impossible. # The Open Anonymity Project We started this project with the belief that intelligence should be a truly public utility. Like water and electricity, providers should be compensated by usage, not who you are or what you do with it. We think unlinkable inference is a first step towards this “intelligence neutrality”. # Try it out! It’s quite practical - Chat app “oa-chat”: chat.openanonymity.ai (<20 seconds to get going) - Blog post that should be a fun read: openanonymity.ai/blog/unlinkabl… - Project page: openanonymity.ai - GitHub: github.com/OpenAnonymity

WW3 - the story so far. Roughly 20 minutes in. Once we get to 70 minutes we will remaster it into a feature length for official release. None of this would have been possible without X - its the best source for news & on the ground footage in real time. This is about powerful men with their own agendas playing with the lives of real people. There are no heroes and there are no villains. Only choices. "Game of Thrones" for the modern world.

Jane Street was running an algorithm that dumped Bitcoin every single morning at 10am. Every day. For months. Crashing the price. Liquidating retail. Buying back lower. Rinse and repeat. The second they got sued it stopped. The 10am dump disappeared. Now Bitcoin just had the best day in months. One trading firm... That’s all it took to suppress the entire crypto market for months. Now ask yourself how much of the crypto price action is even real. How many people panic sold because the charts look terrible. How many people got liquidated. How many billions were taken from regular people by a single trading desk. And this is just the first one to get caught so far… it’s about to get VERY interesting.
zerohedge@zerohedge

And there it is: Jane Street was behind the 2022 crypto winter, destroying Terraform by first depegging the token and destroying the ecosystem, then pretending it would rescue Terra, while effectively it was soaking up what little value remained.
