internal struggle. been having a little struggle understanding certain 'anatomy' in my drawings

I wanna try and draw a few more niche requests and rarepairs before I go back to the big stuff. I also wanna do more doodle type shit because other drawings have taken so much energy from me, but I'm not sure how much I will follow through with that bc "flat colors are easy!!!"

don't wanna replace the goob drawings but i'm just having a blast drawing my new guy. got a somewhat 'inappropriate' drawing in the back log but i would probs have to convert the account to an 18+, would that be the move?

@hello_grows Its probably because the light source is coming from the top right so the highlights on the left side of the body dont make as much sense? Just kinda eyeballing it tho.

tried to figure out how some shading and highlighting works. looks a little.. wrong to me. im in like a super drawy mood today, probably more doodles out today lol.

wanted to make a small explanation on why my oc guy has bubbles around his neck. i wanted his body just to produce them from the soapy water in his body, then the expelled bubbles magnetize to around his neck.
