@clhubes I struggle way more with 11-18 month olds. When they’re unable to communicate or really understand much but are mobile + into everything. Plus, so much screaming! It’s the hardest stage for me by far.

@franhoepfner @vulture It’s one thing not to know what Havdalah is but it’s another to act like every aspect of Judaism is this strange new thing that is totally foreign to the character who doesn’t seem to live under a rock in LA and works in the entertainment industry.

@fosterhood I couldn’t prevent her from sharing her phone when socializing w/ friends + at school (I tried!) but I could let her know that if it was sent from her phone, she’s responsible for it, whether she physically typed the text / post / email or not.

@fosterhood But when she got into trouble bc the content wasn’t kind / appropriate, she was quick to jump to “but I didn’t say that, my friend did and I let her respond / post but I didn’t know she’d say those things…”

@amy_nusbaum Definitely not smarter than you, but I follow Laurel Bristow on Instagram for infectious disease info + she hasn’t steered me wrong yet. FWIW, she says no need to panic / vaccinate if things like daycare are your primary concern / only risk factor.

has anyone tried the “Scandinavian sleeping” thing where each partner has their own blanket & no flat sheet? my partner recommended it a while back but I didn’t think it was a good idea. we slept with our own comforters last night & omg this is a game changer 😂

Gonna sincere post for a second: a lot of you know that almost 2 years ago to the day my wife and I became foster parents to our 4th son, Drew. It’s been an absolute blast and a privilege and today is his last day living with us. Obviously we’re excited for him to be reunited…
