The most significant thing about Sunak's epic reverse ferret is the way it's peed off so many Tory MPs. No matter that some 'libs' (like me) were temporarily & wrongly hopeful, he's inexplicably alienated parliamentary colleagues who thought he genuinely intended to stop the rot.

@ObjectionsBand @marcrileydj I think both points apply. There are too many bands doing a fall thing without any of the interesting early musical Can/beefheart influenced stuff, a cnynical radio version of the fall. Equally a lot of music journalism now seems to be about name dropping the fall needlessly.

@marcrileydj What really annoys me is the amount of bands that are lazily compared to The Fall just because it's an angry regional bloke, fronting some other blokes on guitars.

The irony is MES hated any band who sounded like The Fall. He purposely chose support acts who sounded nothing like the band at all. It is pretty prevalent these days tho… no denying that…
