I am currently learning laptop repairs and sales in Onitsha Main Market. In a space of 6 months, I have witnessed about 10 young guys (between 17-25) who enrolled for apprenticeship, attended for a few days or weeks, and then stopped showing up. When you ask about them, their bosses will tell you they have probably joined a HK -where they learn Yahoo. Even some young people who are already in the market and earning decent money from their skill, still do Yahoo Yahoo on the side. I fear for what our society will look like in the next decade.
