Monster Hunter Orchestra Concert HIDExHIDE, the shakuhachi and shamisen duo bringing the spirit of traditional Japanese music to the concert. Hideki Ishigaki (shakuhachi) and Hideki Onoue (middle-neck shamisen) A next-generation traditional Japanese music unit currently drawing significant attention for its one-of-a-kind sound, weaving together the melodic and emotionally expressive shakuhachi and the delicate yet aggressive middle-neck shamisen. In 2010, they won first place as well as a special music award at an international music competition held in Russia. They have continued to actively perform not only in Japan but also in various countries around the world, including France, Spain, Croatia, Taiwan, and more. They have participated in recordings for numerous game soundtracks, as well as making many television appearances, such as TV Tokyo TX Network’s “Gundam Build Fighters Try” and Daimei no Nai Ongakukai, a.k.a.
