Honestly Kat's campaign exceeded my expectations quite a bit. Coming within striking distance of a popular progressive mayor, and lapping the AIPAC candidate is a pretty good first run for political office.

.@KatAbughazaleh just narrowly lost the #IL09 primary. This loss takes nothing away from the trailblazing campaign Kat ran that put the people at the center of every part of this race. This was still a MASSIVE loss for AIPAC, who spent over $7 million to come in 3rd place.

This loss is a blow to our democracy & a failure of the Democratic establishment that's allowed lobbies like AIPAC, Crypto, & AI to buy our elections.
