@autarchAnathema WHY WAS MAN SPECIFIED DELTATUNE FANS. WHY WOULD MALE BE SINGLED OUT AS APPOSED TO "ITS OKAY TO NOT BE A MAN. OR A WOMAN" what reasons would kris have to specifically feel like they have to be male. tell me im not the dumb one here

@gabuislost could say about them is also completely stupid. yes lets have the trans character not actually be trans despite literally have identity issues and dysphoria mentioned in their backstory

@gabuislost its actually more woke for kris to have never have transitioned at all and just be genderless from birth actually! i actually do understand this from the pov of trying to ward off people from misgendering them but i think writing your trans character around what potential bigots

@autarchAnathema there 100% is there is FOURTY THREE comments. on my og kris post. and almost all of them are saying "erm, kris is nonbinary idiot" so yes i dont think deltarune fans know what tfem means and how broad of a term that is

@hircinevs no yeah for sure, there's that pervasive "girl nonbinary" and "boy nonbinary" attitude which i understand people being on guard for. i also wonder if there's some confusion on the difference between tfem and trans woman??

@autarchAnathema wow.... kris seems to have specific problems with masculinity and being percieved as a man... there is an entire route where you torture them by making them play this possessive violent role against a submissive woman..... what subtext could possibly be read from this?!

@autarchAnathema i do think sometimes people can be weird about the agab of nonbinary characters and i can understand the apprehension sometimes to people speculating it but with what is fucking shown in the literal game i think its insane to clown on me for saying i thought kris was tfem

@autarchAnathema the fact the mancountry dialogue comes right after a fucking therapy scene (iirc) is so on the nose i genuinely believed this was stuff dr fans wouldve picked up on i didnt think i was setting off a nuke with this

@autarchAnathema in the context of the role you force them into in the weird route i thought it was fairly easy to assume kris could be tfem along with this dialogue but deltarune fans dont like trans people... actually being trans i guess? or having dysphoria tied to their birth gender?

i didnt even fucking know this was controversial im a casual deltarune fan i dont interact with the fandom!!!! i thought this was literally like canon????
