Today, we remember Jesus' sacrifice on the cross—the ultimate expression of love. Wishing you a blessed Good Friday.

Today we contemplate the incomprehensible sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The God of all the universe willingly accepted being nailed to a cross so that we would have access to eternity with Him.  @gabe_poirot saw Jesus during his 18 days in a coma, and his encounter beautifully sums up what Good Friday is all about.  Gabe had his head down in shame, but Jesus lifted his head and said: "𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹, 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿?” “And He showed me the wounds in His wrist, and they carried the depth of eternity,” Gabe told me. “And His wounds had a name — Gabriel — He did it just for me.” His wounds had Gabe’s name.  His wounds have my name.  His wounds have your name.  Our sin nailed Him to a cross, and His sacrifice paved a path to eternity.  Today, we praise Him.   We thank Him for an act of love that defies logic and understanding.

Friday is good because Sunday is coming.

Today, Christians around the world observe Good Friday. We call it “Good Friday” because what seemed like the darkest day led to the greatest gift of all time — the resurrection of Jesus Christ, His triumph over sin and death, and the gift of eternal life offered freely to all who believe.

"This Easter Sunday, the First Lady and I join with Christians all across our Nation and around the world in rejoicing in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, whose triumph over sin and victory over death secured the promise of redemption and the hope of eternal life for all who believe in Him as Lord and Savior." - @POTUS

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5:8

Dear Lord, our Eternal Father, we humbly come before You on this evening of Good Friday to thank You for sending Your son Jesus to die for us and thus preserving a home for us in Your eternal kingdom. Help us to always be grateful for his loving sacrifice. Forgive us for the times we are too busy, or distracted by other things, for not fully recognizing what You have freely given and what you have done for us. God, let Your Word dwell within us richly so that we may come to know You better, love You more, and make You known. God help us, show us how, and bless us to have an ever growing, stronger, closer, more intimate relationship with You. Guide us closer to You and to one another in the unity of the Holy Spirit and the bond of peace, and strengthen us together in our mission and service to You. May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life. This through Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray, Amen 🙏✝️ 1 Corinthians 1: 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”

Marriage is between a man and a woman.

Good night friends. Sleep well and sweet dreams. Remember, Jesus loves you. He proved it on the cross. 🙏🏼🫶🏻

The sky went dark. The earth shook. Jesus gave up his spirit. Somehow the darkest day in history is called Good Friday. Because it wasn’t the end of the story. The resurrection was coming.

“It is finished.” Christ’s last words are a reminder that he made the ultimate sacrifice and died for our sins on the Cross so that we could have eternal life with God. Today we remember and honor that sacrifice. Have a Blessed Good Friday ✝️

It's Friday... Peter is grieving. Judas has betrayed. Mary is weeping. Hope feels crushed. Death thinks it's victorious. Hell is celebrating. The tomb is sealed. A stone stands in the way. But hold on... Sunday is coming. Let’s go! 🙌🏻💯
