Inclusive partnerships require inclusive engagement. For inclusive engagement: develop an intentional engagement model and implement it consistently; partner with your Board to ensure all voices are heard; go to where your people are; anticipate and create avenues for feedback.🧵

Since our schools reflect the richness and diversity of the communities they serve, it is incumbent upon education leaders and their Boards to create purposeful opportunities for engaging with their community. These inclusive partnerships help build inclusive school communities.

Successful school leaders are intentional about creating authentic partnerships at all levels of the district including: administrator to staff; staff to student; staff to parent/guardians. Key to the partnership is building trust through a common interest of student success.

Collaboration between education and its partners is vital to the system itself. It is imperative that partners feel acknowledged and valued for their contributions. What strategies do you use to ask for feedback, invite diverse perspectives, and genuinely listen to your partners?
