@DylanReeve You say this but the private market has a way of working out how to serve demand. There is demand for New Zealand local content. It’s just poorly addressed. A few bankruptcies and new companies fulfilling the need locally isn’t the worst thing…

@DylanReeve Free market mate. Nz companies don’t have a right to profit if they don’t have a competitive product. Multinational corps operate off IP developed outsize nz. If buying a book from the states shouldn’t cause a company to pay nz income tax, same should go for ads…

@DylanReeve The consumer is choosing that multinational corporations provide a better product. That’s on the nz consumer, not those corporations. Nz companies need to do better to compete
