@07Maggi @Sainburyscs @sainsburys Supermarket car parks usually set a limit. I've mostly seen two hours unless it's a chargeable parking anyway. More would only be expected at a site that serves a number of stores.
English

Please share.
Just had £85.00 fine for parking in @Sainburyscs @sainsburys where I parked under 3 hours and spend just short of £250. WTAF 🤬
Just spoke to a manager who said I should have noticed the signs and it’s nothing to do with him.
I’ll be returning some purchases now and never shopping with them again.
English

@HSTemile @JustEthanP Yes that's weird given it's origins (French) and means entrance / enter hence the starter at a meal with courses.
English

@JustEthanP Americans call a main course an Entree. Yanks are not serious people.
English

@JustEthanP I beg your finest pardon, but we call it Fairy Liquid. Even the unbranded stuff.

English

@Pallukun @JustEthanP It's not slang and you have ably demonstrated why you shouldn't "distance" yourself from the standard terminology in the country. Familiarise yourself with everyday speech.
English

@JustEthanP i call it dish detergent because im trying to distance myself from englands slang
it lead to a miscommunication at work where the cleaners asked me to order washing up liquid, i put the order for dish detergent, they sent dish*washer* detergent, a powder
English

@AvaRichard111 @ValerieAnne1970 @MedicineCountr I can see why this was marked as spam. The operative word is "might". It was of course debunked.
English

@hpb37 @ValerieAnne1970 During the COVid-19 pandemic, some studies suggested that iver might have antiviral effects under certain experimental conditions. This led to a lot of research and debate. if someone wants ivermectin plz check out @MedicineCountr

English

Hospitals were ORDERED to pump patients full of toxic Remdesivir instead of safe, cheap IVERMECTIN — even though Fauci KNEW Ivermectin worked from the start.
Why? Because Ivermectin would’ve ended the “emergency,” killed the vaccine money machine, and exposed the entire scam.
They **knowingly murdered** countless Americans for profit.
This wasn’t a mistake.
This was mass murder by protocol.

@princerahn @Taa3meya @phosphor_glow I didn't say it made sense just what is claimed as a therapy i assume. It is odd.
English

@princerahn @Taa3meya @phosphor_glow I looked up the text in the header and "blood washing method" appears to be a "naturopathic hydrotherapy routine" so not a routine shower for washing.
English

@Taa3meya @phosphor_glow where tf did you get the rest of the book

@pnwsnorlax_ @ScottieAllen99 @KremlinTrolls There's another sea between the Adriatic Sea and the Mediterranea Sea. It's called the Ionian Sea.
English

@ScottieAllen99 @KremlinTrolls If you're too afraid to type it without the @ there'd still be two g's, dumbass
English

So, Ivanka Trump is bragging about her new, off-grid island in the Mediterranean that her and Jared are developing into a resort. She's even pretending to care about the environmental impact in her propaganda.
What she isn't saying is that the island, Sazan island, is in Albania, in the Adriatic Sea, not the Med. And Albania is one of the most corrupt states in Europe. The island is a 1,400-acre decommissioned Cold War weapons base with underground bunkers and tunnels, which was restricted until the Trump's bought it to develop a monstrous $1.4 billion resort on the island, when the Albanian govt gave preliminary approval for development.
So once they've finished bribing Albanian officials and de-mined the island, they'll be able to host the ultra wealthy pedophile Epstein class again, under the Trump brand. In secret, with no accountability, and with bunkers they can use for their sick sexual fantasies and experiments on kids.

English

@Dr_Mauser @Devon_Eriksen_ If you are referring to shooting someone as they run away then that is not reasonable force nor is dealing with an actual threat.
The US and guns are weird.
English

@hpb37 @Devon_Eriksen_ We've heard about what happens should you use a shotgun (one a the few types of Firearms you're allowed) to repel home invaders. That's why you "Don't use them like the US." Even though that's the primary purpose of a weapon.
English

It is so characteristically European.
The man from a land which can barely afford, and mostly lacks, modern technologies such as ice makers, air conditioners, firearms, clothes dryers, dishwashers, and the like...
.... he boasts instead of having a small piece of paper, issued to him by his government, whose sole use is to comply with the regulations of that government.
He's right about me.
I don't have a passport.
Why not?
Because I do not wish to travel outside of the United States. Not because conditions there are appallingly primitive. I could, and certainly would, be willing to rough it for a few weeks to see some of the great historical sites of Western civilization.
And to meet of with some of the people who would make that civilization great again, were they not under the heel of unelected socialist bureaucratic parasites.
But those parasites have created a police state, and I don't visit police states.
They have disarmed the free peoples of Europe, imported enemies to stab them and rape their daughters, and used their police forces to protect those enemies rather than their own people.
Their servants are quite willing to literally chain a man up, and watch him bleed to death, laughing at him as he slowly dies, all for no other crime than being a White man.
Or to arrest a man, convict him, and throw him into prison for pointing any of this out.
European governments have shown great enthusiasm for jailing their critics, an enthusiasm they do not share for concepts such "human rights" and "jurisdiction".
So, would it be nice to see Europe, the place? Would it be nice to hang out with Europeans?
Yes.
Am I willing to disarm myself and enter the territory of totalitarian dictatorships for that opportunity?
No.
Until the Europeans (and other first world nations) clean the rats out of their respective homelands, I have no use for a passport.
Unless I decide to visit El Salvador, I suppose.
Eoin Kelleher@eoinyk
The average American doesn't even have a passport. Lol
English

@andrewpconnell And we pronounce tomato correctly. Closer to the original. Ditto Yoghurt....
English

Interesting. How would you say paella *in English*, other than pie-ella?
proton@ProtonInspector
Pronunciation of “paella” is a class indicator in the UK

@LiamPatterson6 @WilliamHill Did he fix the odds at time of purchase or to be at starting price.help.williamhill.com/hc/en-gb/artic…
English

This is my dads bet from yesterday, all 8 won and payout was £6441. He went to collect it from @WilliamHill today & the cashier said it only pays £2900 because one of the odds changed after he placed it bet. He took his slip back and wants to take it further…
