What a sad day, Canucks legend Jim Robson has passed away. We only had a Canucks game of the week on TV in the 80’s, it was Jim and my radio. Nobody described a game better. Simply the best there ever was.

The Vancouver Canucks are devastated by the passing of legendary Canucks broadcaster Jim Robson, who passed away today at the age of 91.

Of all the torchbearers throughout the relay, this is my favourite story. Bruno Colli and Dario Pivirotto have carried the torch at all three Italian Winter Olympics. First in 1956, again in 2006 and finally just days ago in 2026. Extraordinary stuff.
