Hello, my name is #elGee. I'm a #MasterOfCeremonies. I serve a dose of humour where & how necessary. You may check out this thread for some of my works. My documentations are not yet great but I'll do my best to share. A trial will convince you more than my narratives will do

Lovers of entertaining football, I hope you are watching the PSG v Bayern game now. Please tune in if you haven't. I don't want to hear unfortunate tears tomorrow when Arsenal plays satanic football against Madrid. We don't owe anybody any entertainment tomorrow.

Hey, let's play that trophy game. Ange Postecoglou left Spurs fighting relegation. Not just trophyless — he left them in a crisis. Erik ten Hag left Man United in 15th place. 15th. With a squad that cost over a billion pounds. Sacked. Gone. Enzo Maresca? Chelsea are mid-table right now — a team with the most expensive squad in football history sitting there doing absolutely nothing. These are the managers some are holding up as proof that Arteta isn't good enough? Omo. The audacity. And here's the part that kills me — where are these supposedly "better" managers today? Jobless. Not one elite club has rushed to sign them. Not one sporting director wake up and say "yes, this is the guy we need." Ange was hired briefly by Nottingham Forest but we all know what happened next. They're all sitting at home watching football on TV — while Arteta is in the Champions League semi-final and sitting top of the Premier League. The truth is simple and it stings: your problem is not Arteta's trophies. Your problem is Arsenal's stability. You want us to be Chelsea — sacking manager every season, spending billion and going nowhere. You wanted us to be Man United — embarrassing themselves against Grimsby, fighting to avoid relegation today, going mid table tomorrow. You wanted us to be Spurs — finishing 17th with a manager who won a trophy and got thrown out anyway. You want us to be like Liverpool, win the league last season, then struggle to maintain it the very next season. I alongside many Arsenal fan refuse. Arteta started building something great and now that building is looking something real. A culture. A squad. A mentality. And now we're knocking on the door of everything. If those managers were so elite, why haven't they been called back? Why is no top club calling for them? After all, Madrid needs a manager, I don't see anyone of them being in Madrid's radar?🙎🏾‍♂️ Some people don't want Arsenal to win. They just want us to suffer so they can feel better about their own clubs. We're not suffering. Our mansion is about to be unveiled. Dear Gunners, don't allow yourself to be bullied by anyone, especially rivals. We all started together and look where they all are...yes we made mistakes along the way, same as they all but mistakes don't define us, it even teaches us more how to be successful. Now is the time. Hold the fort Remember "history in our sight" Don't loose focus. COYG. Always. Don't forget to sing 🎵North London forever🎶

YOU DON'T KNOW BETTER THAN YOUR FOOTBALL TEAM'S MANAGER/COACH. YOU DON'T KNOW HALF AS MUCH AS THEY DO. Nobody takes on a job with failure as their objective, not even Rosenior. Trust me fans, you don't know/have a fraction of the information any manager has to work through.

Except you are getting paid for it, never crash out on a podcast. Everyone involved in the production gets paid, you don’t get paid and you are likely going to be a meme for foolishness forever. Being privately foolish is one thing. Being a renowned fool is another. Don’t do it even if you get paid. But if you must do it, at least ask “for how much?” Whatever you do, have friends. Friends that will let you know that what you are about to do is an act of perpetual foolishness. Or help you negotiate a good reward for it. Don’t let anyone deceive you, there is no reward for crashing out in public. That’s what your room is for. Or your friends. Or your family. Will Smith is Will Smith. At least he is a billionaire or so. Don’t be a poor Will Smith.

🔴⚪ Noticed how nobody is even arguing or complaining about this game? And that tells you everything. Despite the loss, this performance? This was the best we've looked in over a month. Odegaard is back — and this time Arteta played him centrally, properly. Not dropping to the defensive line like he's been forced to do all season to help build out. He stayed high. He stayed between the lines. And suddenly the whole attack had a brain again. Connections were sharper. Movement had logic. The team looked like it knew what it was doing. Kai led the line as the striker. Not a number 10. Not a shadow forward. THE striker. And he was a menace — holding up play, linking, pressing, creating chaos in City's backline. That role suits him mehn. Eze on the left was the wildcard that nearly broke the game open. Those two chances alone — different day, different result. Now picture this same system with Saka back on the right and Timber underlapping in behind. That lineup hasn't fully played together once. Not once. And Berta's summer 2026 rebuild still has pieces to add on top of that. We lost. And we're still terrifying. Now the title picture: Arsenal: 73% Man City: 27% The gap tightened. But 73% is still ours to lose. With games in hand. In London. Yes — April is historically Pep's strongest month. Arteta's worst. The record books will tell you to be scared. But there is ONE Premier League game left in April. One. Then we enter May — which is one of Arteta's best months across his entire tenure. The calendar is about to flip in our favour. Declan Rice after the final whistle: "It's not done yet." He doesn't say things for content. Trust the process. COYG. Always. 🔴⚪ Pomilej

City had a full week of rest. Most of their players available. They needed the win. Playing at home. Arsenal had a high stakes game mid-week. Missing their first choice full backs and still put up a fight. If you like don't get behind the team. Na you sabi.

When I started working in the bank, my parents lived in Alakuko, so I used to commute from home every day. I would wake up as early as 3am, leave the house before 5am, and sometimes get home by 12am if there was traffic… This particular day, one of my colleagues cooked beans… if you’re a banker, you’ll understand that kind of “beans” 😂 the type that everybody in the branch must eat from. It was a shortage of 500k, so we had to rally around because our BOM insisted the money must be cleared. That kept me very late at work, and I couldn’t travel back to Alakuko that night. I took a bus to Obalende, my plan was to look for a church to sleep in… one thing my mum always told us is that if we are stranded, we should look for a church for shelter. I walked around Obalende and luckily, I saw a white garment church (C&S). I entered and greeted them, but the pastor said they had received a message earlier in the week not to accept any stranger into the church. I left… Then I saw a small bus outside the church, so I entered and sat there because at that point, I didn’t know what else to do. I was even thinking of getting a hotel when a boy came out… he looked about 23–25. He was the son of the woman from the church. He came outside and told me to sneak in. He and his mum took me to a room called ile abo and offered me a net and a mat. That was how I slept there… although I couldn’t sleep till daybreak because I was scared 😔 In the morning, he had already gotten me a new toothbrush. I also got a new dress and changed into it. We exchanged numbers and became very close. He was like a brother to me… That same month, when I got my salary, I bought 5 white garment materials for them. One day, I went to work as usual, and one of my customers mentioned he was looking for a receptionist. I asked for the pay and told him I had a brother who just graduated. He gave me his email address and asked him to send him an email and mention my name. I couldn’t even wait till after work… I called him during my break. He prepared his CV and sent it immediately. He went for the interview a week later and got the job… the pay was 180k for a start That same customer later relocated to the USA in 2024, but before he left, he referred him for an accountant role in one of the big companies on the island. He said my brother was a great guy and he could vouch for him. Today, he’s doing so well for himself, taking care of his family… they no longer live in church anymore 🥹 When I was travelling, he sent me 300k as his own support. There’s no week we don’t FaceTime… We spoke last night when he asked if he should relocate to Germany or the UK for his master’s… he got admission in both countries. I know he’s going to do great things. Anyways, that call was the reason I remembered this story… and I thought to share ❤️ You really never know how far a small act of kindness can go ❤️

I just an incredibly intense premonition as I walked through Central Park in New York: of Arsenal beating City on Sunday, 1-0, with a header by Gabriel from a disputed 98th minute corner.

One of the most painful experience I have ever felt was when I went to Abuja last month I requested uber from my apartment to get food. Trip cost was 2500 naira. Uber guy arrived and decided to branch filling station to buy fuel before heading to destination… He asked for 5k fuel and I was quite surprised he asked for a fuel that small considering his tank was empty empty. I asked him why so and he said country is hard and he was struggling. So I asked the fuel guys to fill up his tank which cost approx 70k. In addition to that I also gave him 50k as a gift. He told me I should always feel free to contact him if I ever need a ride and I asked if he was free next day cos my flight was for 7am. He said sure. Next day he picked me up and dropped me off and to my greatest suprise man asked me to pay double the fare to airport because ‘he picked me up early’ My life flashed twice. I couldn’t believe what I heard. Humans are ungrateful and tbh everyday I am reminded that the major reason some people are far from their blessings is simply because they are unwilling to make sacrifices or just simply pain greedy. Till today I still have that flashback and I get angry over again when I remember it. Not exactly angry because of the money given because I mean I did so with zero expectation and will do so again and again but because it hurts soo much that said young man just lost a beautiful opportunity to know me better and probably get an opportunity to work with me beyond that day. GREED sealed his fate It is well.

People forget that Jesus came at a time when Jerusalem was under Roman occupation. They installed a puppet King (Herod) and taxed the people heavily. But the Jewish people had historical records of God using Moses to save them in Egypt. They had read of how God used King David to save them from their enemies. If God did it before, he can do it again. If he save them from Egypt, surely he can save them from Rome. So they expected a Warrior King. A Messiah that would save them from the chains of Rome. You could forgive them for thinking that Jesus was that warrior King. Because when he spoke, he spoke with authority. He performed miracles and drew huge crowds who followed him. To cap it up, he spoke about "The Kingdom of God" - A Phrase that simple meant "Regime Change" to the people. So when He rode into Jerusalem (on Palm Sunday), people started shouting - “Hosanna…Blessed is the King!”. They weren’t just worshipping. They were endorsing a potential revolutionary leader. Their own version of a Nationalist Political Leader. BUT THEY WERE GREATLY DISAPPOINTED! There was a clash of expectations. While they expected a sword, Jesus brought a message of “love your enemies....blessed are the peacemakers". When they expected Rome to fall, he urged them instead to “Render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar". They expected political liberation, instead, He spoke about inner transformation, salvation of the soul and a spiritual kingdom. They wanted a King to overthrow Rome but Jesus instead revealed a Kingdom not built on violence but on the core plan of reconciling sinners to God. If Jesus was to come in the 21st Century, many would be greatly disappointed because his person and message would not be different from when He came in the 1st Century. After all, isn't he the same yesterday, today and forever?
