@willowdovess I honestly think that they wanted someone who was fairly unknown. I didn’t even know who he was until the casting announcements (despite me being Australian) (hell I didn’t even know he was Australian). It doesn’t matter about connections.

also, i doubt that his connections had anything to do with his sotr casting. if francis lawrence was like… idk his uncle and just handed him the role then sure, but jo literally went through the entire audition and callback process. he got cast bc (1/2)

i need you all to be serious because you cant actually believe someone who’s the child of a soap opera actor turned plastic surgeon and of an australian producer can be considered a “nepo baby to the extreme” 😭 sure, he has connections but he’s talented. that’s what matters

It’s not shocking at all that Joseph has some acting connections. IT MAKES SENSE

I truly don't want to sound harsh, but the truth is that I am REALLY tired of seeing influencers get all these things instead of us, the fans, who have been rooting for her for, at least, TWO decades now. If anyone deserves it, it's US. @Disney, what's good?
