Hello Everyone, For 16 weeks we’ve dropped a weekly update here. (except the last one) @pkaura and I are shutting down @theclankline Over the last few months, 15 creators launched nearly 200 markets built on interesting, contrarian theses. The kind that didn’t exist anywhere else. Those markets saw participation from over 900 people and did a notional volumes of over $90K. For a small, two-person team, this meant a lot. Every market created, every trade placed, every message we received was a source of inspiration for us. We’re genuinely grateful to everyone who showed up and gave this a shot. Why are we shutting down? Clankline was not a sustainable business yet. We had a few ideas. But as a lean bootstrapped team, we simply ran out of time. This is hard to write. But it is what it is. That said, this is not the end. We’re builders at heart. We still believe in what we were trying to do. And I’ve a feeling that we will be back. But for now, we’re taking a step back to rest and reflect. Thank you for being part of the journey! P.S. If you have any questions or any help you need related to Clankline, our DMs are open.

Personal update — I'm moving on from @multicoin. It was an absolute privilege to work alongside such an exceptional team and the amazing founders we've partnered with. I am grateful for that. I want to extend special appreciation to @tushar_jain for being an invaluable leader and mentor throughout the years. I have learned a lot from you. I continue to be bullish on the crypto industry. It has never been clearer that crypto will be the foundational infrastructure powering global finance, and the regulatory backdrop is the most constructive it has ever been. I look forward to exploring the highest-leverage opportunities in the next phase of my career. Stay tuned.

They say AAP is looting Punjab? Imagine, despite AAP ruling in Punjab and having control on budget of over ₹3 lakh crore, it could have raised massive donations like BJP or Akalis as part of Commission each tenders. But AAP receives only around ₹71 lakh, mostly through voluntary contributions. Meanwhile, a two seat BJP unit gets ₹60 crores. It stamps, AAP is not here to extract, blackmail the business houses or people of Punjab, but to bring Punjab back to its glory.

last month i decided to step away from @noicedotso and hit pause on my founder journey noice is roughly a year old but the team has been grinding together since early 2024. back then i was just happy to be working day in and day out with people i liked - i had no idea what it would turn into launching noice was the magnum opus of my professional life so far. 'noice summer' as we termed it is a time of my life that i'll never forget and it truly changed my belief in what a small team can achieve in a very small period of time we shipped something real, got backed by people we deeply respect, and went through the kind of lows and highs that permanently change how you see yourself. i'm so grateful for every bit of it but somewhere in the middle of all that, i started feeling like a new chapter was calling. not away from the work, away from the version of me that was doing it next few months i'm focused on reflecting and working on myself. sitting with the discomfort of not knowing what's next until that becomes okay meanwhile srijan, heet and the rest of the team are gonna continue steering the wheel at noice

@imrgoyal Bad against large models or SOTA models But good for doing repetitive small tasks like summarizing, etc., for free. Building a small agentic CRM for Telegram(personal use), so I’m using this locally to categorize chats based on what state they are in.

If voters can HIRE a neta, they should be able to FIRE the neta too. If Indian voters have the Right to Elect, they should have the ‘RIGHT TO RECALL’ too. Right to Recall is a mechanism that empowers voters to de-elect an elected representative, before their term ends, if they fail to discharge their duties. If we can impeach the President, the Vice President and judges, and move a no confidence motion against an elected government mid term, then why should voters be forced to tolerate a non performing MP or MLA for five full years. Five years is too long. There is no profession where you underperform for five years with zero consequences. More than 24 democracies in the world such as the United States, Switzerland etc. provide arecall or voter initiated removal mechanisms in some form. If Indian voters have the right to elect, they should have the right to recall too. However, there should be safeguards to prevent misuse: Threshold - At least 35 to 40 percent voters should back a recall trigger through a verified petition before any recall vote is held Cooling period - A minimum 18 month lock in after election so the representative has time to deliver and cannot be targeted immediately after winning Clear grounds- Recall only for proven misconduct, fraud, corruption or serious neglect of duty, not everyday political disagreements Final test- Recall succeeds only if more than 50 percent voters support removal in the recall vote This is citizen empowerment. It will push parties to field performers, reduce corruption, and bring democracy back to accountability. Voters have the right to vote someone into office and they should have the right to vote them out of office too.

My Demand: Make Long Term Capital Gain TAX on Equities NIL for individual investor. I welcome the hike in STT (security transaction tax) on derivatives as it can curb reckless speculation. Nearly 90% of retail investors lose money in F&O, turning markets into gambling. When STT was originally introduced, LTCG was zero. But now with both STT and LTCG in place, investors are disincentivised. I urge the govt to abolish LTCG on equities for individuals, as done in Switzerland, Singapore, UAE & others. This will boost household wealth, reduce speculation, and shift savings from gold & real estate into equities.
