When police was trying to diffuse the bomb, it exploded in which 3 school students Deepak Kumar (10), Rekha (8), Tilak Raj (13) and 9 others were seriously injured . The bomb was so powerful that 6 nearby shops and houses were virtually reduced to rubble. 10 year old boy Deepak Kumar died in hospital on 7.6.1990. Deepak Kumar’s father Sh. Hans Raj was also killed by terrorists few days back and remaining members of his family had migrated to Batala, from Vill. Masania due to constant threats from Khalistanis. Homage to young Hindu boy Sh. Deepak Kumar on his martyrdom day. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 2 Special thanks to SPO Sh. Buti Ram for his exemplary presence of mind and dedication towards his duty as he saved lives of many people, who would have otherwise perished if he had not brought the bomb to police station.
