@PPhantomGray also i think because yno has permanently changed how people play 2kki, a lot of people will feel less incentivized to play it. especially if it's harder to keep track of their "achievements" like expeds, badges, and how many worlds they've explored.

I think it’s really sad that the playerbase of Yume 2kki is going to drop significantly after YNO inevitably goes defunked. A lot of people simply don’t want to download gigabyte-sized files just to update their game.

@PPhantomGray oh definitely. i think the best way to save the 2kki playerbase is to have a yno equivalent that has a team of people who can actually hold accountability, though i'm not sure how well that would turn out

it just sucks a lot with how the yno site itself has so many nice people (at least based on the few times i would chat there) but the discord server and the people who run it are just like another toxic cliquey space that gives weirdos a slap on the wrist at most
