Notes I took from the Roaring Kitty livestream that covered this tweet: Kitty takes a deep breath and says it’s time to get into this. Citron Research posted that they will live stream tomorrow to explain five reasons why GameStop buyers at these levels are suckers at the poker table and why the stock would pull back to $20 fast. Kitty explains there are tons of market participants and many have been bearish on GME for the last 18 months and they were right. Like any security, there are bullish & bearish people and both can be right. It comes down to time horizon. Kitty wants to make one thing clear about his thesis because he can already see what Citron might talk about. His fundamental thesis has nothing to do with short interest. That’s still a side show. So he walks through the bearish points. He pulls up the chart. It’s overbought on the daily. For a long term investor, that’s bullish. For a short term trader, it could cool off and become a profit taking opportunity. Same thing when looking at RSI. It’s overextended. Next is Cohen and his crew joining the board. They haven’t done anything yet. It’s still speculative. The Russell 2000 is also overbought and due for a short term pullback. Ultimately, it’s all about time horizon. Nobody knows Cohen and team’s plans, so what can Citron even meaningfully pick apart on the long term? After breaking down the short term bear thesis, Kitty flips it and outlines a short term bull thesis. They announce a new strategy, it’s super sexy, and everyone wants in. That could happen at any time. Short term is speculative, long term analysis is much easier.

Update: I s/w a gentleman @gamestop a few minutes ago who called me on the phone This issue has been resolved GameStop made everything right and exceeded my expectations When I posted this originally last night, I did not anticipate a response nor to have my issue resolved that quickly. I was honestly just messing around when I saw the cancellation email come in late last night. I would have eventually called customer service. For those in the comments that said “just reorder”, it was a hard to find item that I was going to pick up at a different store by my place of employment. It could not be shipped to me and another one wasn’t available within 100 miles. Per the website, the store had only one in stock. I know @ryancohen has better things to do then respond to me, but this experience has truly made me feel even better about how things are done at this organization. Thanks again RC and sorry to bother you. Hope you know I appreciate how hard you and your employees work. The gentlemen who called me was fantastic and super professional. A+ experience.
