Just coming out of two rough days of having COVID. n=1, but the latest variant was highly transmissible (2-4 day delay from 1st household member testing positive to all other household members). Symptoms preceded positive test by one-day. Vax/boosted didn’t prevent being sick.

some personal news: on June 22 I was on a bike ride that ended in a collision with a car, I have no memory of the crash or surrounding events. My helmet did its job, and saved me from the worst of the outcomes; and all in all: I was very very lucky.

Update: We have been fortunate to timely receive plasma for him. He is being treated and being monitored closely Thank you all for reaching out or amplifying this in one way or another.
