Last Christmas, we gave our neighbor food you know, sharing love during the festive period. Later that day, I was at the backyard cleaning a dusty window, only for me to see their daughter throwing the food away. The same food we gave them. Packed nicely in two takeaway packs inside purple nylon. She didn’t know I saw her. Omo! I was SHOCKED. I just quietly went back inside. Didn’t even tell anyone until later that evening. Fast forward to yesterday. knock knock I opened the door, it was their daughter again. She said her mum is celebrating her birthday and brought us food. I collected it calmly Thank you, greet your mum. But in my mind, plan don set already I waited! As soon as I saw the woman step outside, I carried the food, stepped out at the exact same time, and poured everything for the compound dog. She looked at me. I looked at her. She stared at me. I stared back. Then she quietly walked away. You can’t throw away my food, but expect me to eat yours. It’s aura for aura season, my dear.

one of my guys told me his babe left his place last Sunday. he told her to call him as soon as she got home safe. she said she would. he lost track of time and slept off without hearing from her. yesterday morning, he woke up to a series of messages from her accusing him of being ‘uncaring’ and ‘mean’. she’s upset that he didn’t call when he didn’t hear from her. my guy is also upset that she didn’t keep her word and call when she got home. he said she does this too often. she gets home and forgets to check in. personally, i think they are both to blame. what do you guys think?

When I closed down my thrift store, I brought all my mannequins and equipment home I’m not the type to sell things I might still need later. A senior friend asked for some mannequins. I told her I wasn’t selling, but she kept insisting, so I agreed to lend them with clear instructions: no direct sunlight, because they can get weak and break easily. Fast forward my kid sister needed them for her clothing line. I informed my friend two weeks ahead, went to her shop, and picked up my mannequins. Now suddenly, I’m the bad person for taking back what belongs to me? Honestly, people are never satisfied.

@miriamogb Mine was water one early morning, just to boil some water for bathing then because there was no light oo. Slept back and woke up to everywhere on smoke. My mum's yelling and coughing woke me up. Ever since then I don't even go close to the kitchen whenever I'm tired or sleepy.

My friend got home from his night shift by 6am. He was hungry so he decided to boil small rice. He went to the living room and sat down to close his eyes small. He woke up to the sound of neighbours banging their hands loudly on his door. With fear and confusion he runs to open the door.. They ask him where the smoke is coming from and with confusion , he goes to the kitchen and that’s when he remembered he put something on the fire. We thank God the fire didn’t escalate but please , don’t cook anything when you are tired. Sleep first. Safety first. I can’t imagine the amount he would have paid in damages if God had not intervened.

Umuada Headquarters!! 😂 Let me tell you all about how I almost fell into the Umuada trap in 2023. 🤣🤣. Okay, I went home in December 2023, and there was an umuada gathering (burial). My dad advised me to make sure I attended. I said okay. I went there, and the person hosting them gave them their usual items (rice, chicken, malt, etc.). So, after we have paid our condolence money. They started sharing the food and drinks. So whenever it reached my turn to collect my own, I did tell them, "Don't worry, I'm ok; I don't want to eat." 😂 Not knowing the elders there were watching me. The next thing I heard was "You all umuada abroad who think they are better than us or we are not up to your standard to dine with will soon collect your results. Another thing they said is that they will return the chickens to the host so that "umu agbogho abroad that refused to eat with them will buy them chicken and they will share it. Nah so i rush collect my on share ozugbo!😂😂😂😂. How these people shared two equals to more than 60 women then still a misery to me🤣😂. In all you do please avoid umuada wahala oo, e no dey end well.🤣🤣🤣😂 Una good morning!
