My take on : Task simplification & manipulating constraints,in this case (equipment) in beginners tennis. Tennis has traditionally treated newcomers to the game as if they're incapable of PLAYING tennis until all the technical "fundamentals" are in place. I was guilty of this 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Rugby is a team sport, not complicated, play your best players in their positions. Honestly this 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 team would struggle in French D2

The ‘moving screen’ deceiving your marker by using body language to receive but then with ‘small late movements’ letting the ball run against or across your opponents’s flow - at the same time using your body as a barrier between your opponent & the ball creating a moving screen
Paul McGuinness@PaulMcG8

The more weapons a player has in their armoury to ‘outwit’ opponents the more enjoyment they have - a ‘moving screen’ - disguising to receive then letting the ball run ‘going against the flow’ of a marker while moving & screening the ball takes game craft to a new level

Easy ways to improve your coaching now ! Ask yourself 👇🏽 Is this session about learning or performance? Are the athletes your working with aware of this ? Does your practice design match the intentions?

@JvanderB78 🤦‍♂️. Cruyff would pass against the curb for hours and hours bringing the ball down out of the air. Phil Foden juggled a mini ball against a wall for hours and hours. Maradona used to warmup with juggling. Never understand coaches discouraging work on the ball. Ego.

@itsagamefirst Great point Michael, I think a lot of people think an Eco D lens means you “can’t” use certain methods. Do some align better with the theory? Yes probably, but what it does do is change your rationale for using ANY method - it does not reduce your toolbox.

Unpopular opinion : I view coaching through an Eco lens. This does NOT mean I diminish the value of other skill aq accounts, nor does it mean I will NEVER use tools from a representation lense. Im attempting to fill my toolkit with a rich & diverse breath of skill aq knowledge.

Newsmax: Sean Diddy Combs. Would you consider pardoning him?  Trump: “Well, he was essentially, I guess, sort of half innocent…Probably hmm. You know, I was very friendly with him. I got along with him great. Seemed like a nice guy”(August)
