[In regards to English translation revisions for Black Lily’s Tale] Hello! I’d like to tell you about our plans for a revised version of the English translation for Black Lily’s Tale. First off, corrections have already been made to the Prologue, and terminology throughout the game is in the process of being streamlined for consistency. We’ve received a lot of feedback regarding the translation quality in the latter half of the game, so we’re going to prioritize revisions there next. We’ll be gradually checking and revising all text in the game. We’re aiming for completion by the end of this year, but we’ll be pushing updates every week or two as progress is made.

I'm proud to share that I led the new English translation for Harmonic Reflections (記憶の鍵盤). This update fully replaces the old AI-based text with a brand-new human translation (by me), editing, and proofreading. It's now live on Steam. #visualnovel #Laplacian #記憶の鍵盤

It could be a f2p with microtransactions, a premium subscription or even mix and match both (demanding subscription + having microtransactions/lootboxes).

Every time an article like this pops up, all the nonsensical hot takes soon follow to continue perpetuate misconceptions regarding Steam. A shame news sites never reach out to us for an opinion.

@raelilover @vnka_world @SekimoriGami Unfortunately, Steam doesn't go back on their bans and there's no discussion after it happens. The one exception I can think of to this case was Chaos;Head Noah, as there was significant backlash to it, but they have a history of inconsistency on what they allow on their store.

@vnka_world @SekimoriGami 😔 well that’s upsetting, If it’s already on Nintendo, I don’t get why ratings would be a problem for Steam (since I believe Nintendo’s stricter about that usually) and Steam has the age check. Ugh, I hope that this get realized & solved, thank you for trying tho 🫶

We are very sorry. We had previously planned to distribute this game on Steam, but the content was deemed too sensitive and Steam management suspended our account. As a result, we are currently unable to distribute this game on Steam. I'm half convinced that valve bans are final because if they were forced to explain where the problem is they would rightfully get some level of backlash over their determination. By never revealing their process or reasoning they never have to come under scrutiny.
