I say no spend March- I did book a holiday and bought some big weekend tickets. 🫣 Essentials.

Saved £800 by doing no spend March. However, the frugal lifestyle just isn’t for me 😭

Looked after several people with Flu and now I feel rotten 🫠

Apart from a going Barbados last Jan, this year has been boring and disappointing and don’t worry I only blame myself 🤣

I’m entering hospice today. Will probably update every little if at all. But I wanted to say to be kind, be brave, be principled, be an idealist. Most importantly, be a decent human. I love that we existed together, in this moment of time.

We are devastated to say that our beautiful Isabelle died in the early hours of this morning. We are absolutely broken. However, we want you all not to think of her death, but to honour her by living life as she did: fearlessly, joyously & spontaneously.

Mixed feelings this evening as I prepared Noah’s uniform for his first day at high school. Mainly, an overwhelming sense of sadness that his own father, who was present for 9 out of 11 years of his life, hasn’t given him a second thought- not even a good luck text 😔

I rarely post about my personal life. But, sometimes you just need an outlet 😔. His hurt is my hurt! And I have no idea how to explain all of this to him.

How do you protect a child from this? The older he gets, the harder I find it to navigate these difficult times.

How has an entire generation apparently grown up believing it's ok to listen to music/tik tok etc on trains with the volume up & no headphones? How???!

@claireprice1981 I loved being a community midwife. I loved 9-5 and I didn’t mind the on calls. I loved having a caseload too. But, the pay difference was huge! Nights and unsociable hours really made the difference and I couldn’t afford it at the time. X

Probably the only mother who is THRILLED about it being their child’s last day of primary. NO MORE SCHOOL RUNS 🙏🙏😍

My boy smashed his national tests! Super proud of my little dude. All I’ve ever wanted is for him to be kind and most importantly, happy- his results are a Brucey bonus!
