After @freshbooks changed their billing plans, they threw some customers, including my company @vulkcoop, into new plans that were a bad match resulting in large monthly expense increases (more than 3x for us). Unfriendly behavior for a company trying to make billing nicer.

#k8s is not the most widely used #cloudnative platform/framework implementation because it is the best technology. It is because the community and projects support choice and expansion through open APIs, transparent discussion, and strong vendor-neutral interoperability and usage

#bestpratices based on community patterns + practices using #open APIs, #opensource software and that show how to operate and implement software natively in the environment, have a stronger chance of getting wide support which strengthens them through more testing & contributors

Building from the ground op means you have broader community buy-in from the start. It means you are working transparently, in the open, and your standards are based on working software and APIs.

The intention is to increase #opensource ground-up #interoperability testing, compatibility, and open standards. This is good for the creators and consumers both across the community by supporting the goal of #automation, #integration, and flexible #choice.

@AndrePuschmann @srsRANProject We have SRS RAN running successfully. The VoNR testing not so much. What are some recommendations for an IMS? Most of our SRS testing works with #open5gs -> open5gs.org

@ixx @srsRANProject Have you tried with the public code yet? There are still some limitations but it should work out of the box. You need an IMS running somewhere though.
