@JesseSBSN @YourAutumnWind Spent a lot of draft capital on the secondary. The upside of the group is substantial. I think the Arizona DBs will be a big part of that. Need the corners to be healthy. But now I feel more comfortable about depth on the back end. Lester Hayes & Mike Haynes. No. But we’ll see.

The #Raiders use the pick from the Tyree Wilson trade to draft Arizona S Dalton Johnson Back-to-back Arizona safeties after Treydan Stukes in the 2nd. Strong safety type, physical, experienced, and should contribute on special teams right away. #RaiderNation how you feeling about the pick?

@rey_pereida We haven’t had a great secondary since damn near Lester Hayes and Michael Haynes. I’m hoping all the investments there in this draft help make that a reality in the near future.

Ultimately Spytek will be judged by how well Kubiak & staff implements these guys & they perform BUT don’t sleep on B. Hunt being in this photo (VP player personnel) as accidental. Starkie & Patch were working it too. This is the first draft where Spy had his guys the whole year.

Dalton Johnson said he and Treydan Stukes are best friends and he's excited to play with him on the Raiders. Said he and Stukes are "gonna turn Las Vegas up."

Jermod McCoy's first college INT was vs Fernando Mendoza in 2023 when Oregon State faced Cal. Now they're #Raiders teammates. "It was probably one of the top moments in my life," McCoy says. "We talked after that game too, chopped it up a little bit, it was good. Good to know we are going to be on the same team too. We got the best quarterback in college football and now going to be the best in the league."
