This weekend, Bollinger Shipyards hosted the christening of the USNS Robert Ballard, a vessel that represents America’s leadership in maritime security. Shipbuilding is an economic engine that drives local jobs, and contributes to our nation’s security.

With an annual average income of $57.6K and a cost of living index of 91.5 (about 8.5% less than the U.S. average), residents in Jackson County enjoy stronger purchasing power compared to much of the country. That means paychecks stretch further, supporting the quality of life!
