The ⁦@LearningUNDFTD⁩ staff for the Texas Mobile STEM labs hosted a Family Engineering Night for my ⁦@NISDGlass⁩ families on Wednesday. Our Lil Huskies were tasked to build a Marshmallow catapult so they could launch marshmallows! Lots of fun!

My Lil Mechanical Engineers were hard at work today creating pulley systems @NISDSTEMLabs @NISDGlass

Kinder Civil Engineers @NISDPowell and @NISDGlass are learning the Engineering Design Process while creating plans and prototypes of roads for their neighborhood @NISDSTEMLabs

5th graders at @NISDGlass learned how computers work and the evolution of computer systems in STEM to start the Cybersecurity unit. They were challenged to design or redesign a type of computer using Legos. Great showing of Ipads, cellphones, laptops, PCs, etc.

5th graders at @NISDGlass began the Cybersecurity unit in STEM by learning how computers work & how they've evolved over time. This student explains his concept of a 90s inspired computer design.

Kindergarten T-birds @NISDPowell finished their Health Science unit in STEM by bringing in their favorite stuffie to practice using the health tools on them and a partner. Cuteness overload 😍

5th grade using @Strawbees Robotics kits with micro:bit to create Friendbot and Facebot. A fun time was had last week!

5th grade kicked off Robotics using @strawbees Robotics kits and engineered a catapult. Lots of problem solving, Teamwork and success!

5th graders entered Alternative Energy by creating solar energy and turning on an LED light and powering a motor! Needless to say, they were excited! @NISDSTEMLabs @NISDGlass

Outstanding work was done by our 5th grade @NISDGlass Engineers on their Environmental Science Classroom STEM challenge. Students upcyclyed trash from our campus into usable products! @NISDElemScience

#seec2025 was a blast! We were shown a great activity that can be modified for PreK thru 5th and we loved it! Can't wait to share with the rest of @NISDSTEMLabs teachers
