I've watched every minute of every UCF game since 2001. I'm telling you the issue started with @TerryMohajirAD. @AD_DannyWhite made a pledge in 2015 to get away from that boring ass George O'Leary play style. He hired Frost then subsequently Heupel. The theory was quite simple, fast-paced, hurry-up offensive minded football whereas even if you lost you still put a great product on the field for the fans and more importantly attracted offensive minded recruits with the lure of big number production. The styel exceeded expectations under both coaches. When Mohajir came on he caved to the pressure of everyone saying it wouldn't work in the Big 12 but promised hybrid versions of it through @CoachGusMalzahn who is touted as an offensive guru. For four years we've witnessed regressions in almost every statistical category including win percentage. The team is boring AF to watch. The product is the worst we've seen since 2015. And oh by the way Heupel's style seems to be working quite well in the SEC. Just saying get ready for 6-6 to be the norm year in and year out. And I like Gus by the way. But four years and we've yet to see ANY progress.
