Finished Leon 2 by @jamarnicholas @scholasticuk and what a super sequel. I really think the issue of a friend becoming too big for their boots after a success is rarely delved into too deeply and it's very effectively done here. Great humour too and it needs to be continued!!

The Times children's book of the week is... 'Sidekicks' by @dsantat. a supremely slick graphic novel for younger readers about pets in training to become superheroes. 'Leon' by @jamarnicholas also provides another excellent riff on caped crusaders... thetimes.com/article/b5011f…

FINISHED: I really enjoyed this. When friendships fall apart and Leon’s world seems to be imploding, can he fix things? The pages in this are so well done! Love the set up for the next book! My class are gonna be thrilled that I’m finished this! Leon is a star in my class!
