The actual press releases and readouts outlining who was met, what was discussed, and what Canadians were expected to take comfort in. Because if this is all just a remarkable run of coincidences, the pattern should fall apart when you compare it to their own record. It doesn’t. It tightens. Some people collect stamps. Others collect explanations. I collect data. Dates. Receipts. Not to be clever, but because I’m done being managed, spun, and quietly taken for a ride by my own government. So I didn’t realize the Supreme Court of Canada’s Chief Justice is the Chair of the Advisory Council of the Order of Canada. No other Commonwealth country has their judiciary involved in this political decision. I think it’s actually a major problem, especially post-Covid.

The more I read this, the more I realize how it is utterly illiterate. How exactly do you decolonize someone’s birthplace? He lived there. No one came in and conquered his house. It’s just a house of a man that exists. These people are exhausting 🙄
